After four competitive weeks of rugby the Rowdies finished a very impressive 3rd in the Missouri Union Summer 7's League. Their focused aggression approach surprised many teams during the summer league and they will take this approach with them into the 15's season looking to reclaim the division crown.

We are bringing back a recruiting initiative for this fall season. As announced at the summer team meeting, any returning player who recruits three new, dues-paying members will have their own dues refunded for the season. New players only pay $75 dues. We currently have eight cup matches scheduled for this fall, so numbers will be very important at both practice and games!

Alright gents! It's time to start back up for the Fall season. Since our first match is less than a month away, we will begin regular practice every Tuesday and Thursday evening at North End Park, beginning tonight. Be there around 5:30pm - practice will start sometime before 6:00pm. Practices end when they end, and then we head over to Sullivan's.

I am happy to announce that the Rowdies Rugby Club has a new sponsor. Effective today, our new official bar is Sullivan's, which is right across the street from our game pitch at North End Park. Jackie and Sully are extremely excited to have us, so please stop by after practice on Thursdays. I have a feeling that they will take good care of us, so let's take care of them.
