Celebrating 30 years of Rugby!

The Rowdies Rugby Football Club was established in 1978. For most of the past 30 years, we were known as the Scott Rowdies, due to our close affiliation with nearby Scott Air Force Base. We now play our home games, and practice, at North End Park in Belleville, Illinois. See the directions link above.

I am happy to announce that the Rowdies Rugby Club has a new sponsor. Effective today, our new official bar is Sullivan's, which is right across the street from our game pitch at North End Park. Jackie and Sully are extremely excited to have us, so please stop by after practice on Thursdays. I have a feeling that they will take good care of us, so let's take care of them. Rowdies go to 4-2 in Summer 7's

After a disappointing first week of 7's rugby where the Rowdies found themselves 0-2, the Rowdies have now hit their stride going 4-0 during the last two weeks of competition. During this stretch the Rowdies have won matches against some very talented sides including two different Royals sides.

The Rowdies hope to keep up the winning in two weeks when they will face off with some more talented sides from the Missouri Union.

For all those interested, 7's practice will be next Thursday at 6:00 p.m. at North End Park in Belleville.
